Black Cat Productions is a home-based company based in St. Catharines, Ontario. Black Cat Productions provides videography services, produces digital signage installations and small independent film projects. Black Cat Productions uses HDV, DV equipment and editing suites to produce its projects.
Our video and graphic editing suites are outfitted with Adobe Creative Suite 4 for digital video and graphic development. Adobe CS4 allows for the development of professional high definition video graphics, fully functional DVD and Blu-ray menus, titles, motion graphics, and other digital and new media content. CS4 programs include Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Encore, Flash Professional, and more.

For more extensive projects that surpass our in-house facilities, we are able to rent any required equipment or facilities from local industry suppliers. |
Doug Hagar

Doug started Black Cat Productions in 2003 to develop digital signage at local dental offices. He has produced projects for several local charitable organizations. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from Brock University and Master of Arts Degree in Political Science from Brock University. His research interests include global-city regions, local government, and the film and television industry policy. He recently completed a major research paper called "The Toronto Film and Television Industry: Advancing Development."
Doug also has an interest in photography and politics. He serves on the Government Affairs Committee at the St. Catharines-Thorold Chamber of Commerce and completed a research project on poverty in Niagara neighbourhoods for the Business Education Council of Niagara. He also organized policy brief sessions for the Niagara Community Observatory including "Seniors in Niagara: Creating Age-Friendly Communities" and "The Young are the Restless: Attracting and Retaining Young People in the Niagara Area." He has also been employed as a part-time political science teaching assistant for courses in qualitative and quantitative research methods, canadian politics, and local government at Brock University.
Tommy Eldridge

Tommy Eldridge attended Fanshaw College's Theatre Arts program in London, Ontario and has studied Theatre at Brock University. He has studied film at 2 canadian colleges, Canadore College in North Bay Ont, and Niagara College in Welland.
In addition to his love of film, Tommy`s heart and soul is in acting. He has starred in a number of stage productions including, “You`ll Get Used To It The War Show” and “You Can't Take It With You”. At the age of 15 Tommy landed the lead role in the film “Among The Adolescent Male” which went on to receive various awards and accolades. He is what Genievive Habib calls “... A very versatile actor. Tommy can play any part”.
Tommy was also a essential member of Improv Under Glass, an improvisation group that performed several times at Yuk Yuk's in Niagara Falls, and performed at Canadian Improv Games.
